I was born on Oct 8, 1982 in Hattiesburg, MS. I am an only child. I graduated Oak Grove high school with honors in 2001. My parents divorced when I was too young to remember. My mother raised me. She played piano at 38th Baptist Church for 20+ years as I was growing up. I have respect for any single parent who tries their best to provide a stable future for their children.

I have suffered from Panic Anxiety, Depression, and Insomnia all my life. In my early 30’s I became so hopeless about living that I began to seek professional help. This was the turning point of my life. I re-dedicated my life to Jesus, started going back to church, and started to get serious about reading my Bible everyday. Medicine helped, but Scripture became a firm foundation for me and transformed me from the inside out. I am now completely anxiety-free, and extremely hopeful and optimistic about my future.

Anxiety & Depression had affected me so profoundly and for so long, that I commited myself to learning as much as possible about these two disorders, so that I could help myself and others. My past pain has become my purpose in life.
